Dear Edna while I am resting will drop you few lines to let you know how we are getting along we are all well and all well except me I don't feel very well I have the headache have had it for week well I hope you are doing fine so glad you had good exam hope you still continue to inprove and be satisfied for we are all rite yes we heard from cecil and he wasn't in very good humor because Earl hadnt sent the papers be we coluldnt him two said didn't have time but they finally got them off Saturday so guess he will be coming home soon Earl said he wouldnt mind if he would go to work Earl is bussy all the time the boss has gone to TX A&M to school for week Earl has lots to do he says but oh my they are in such a tizzy all th e time never hardly have time eat will got up this morning at 530 calling for them to get up no one can sleep any more after he gets up well the children doing fine in their study Merl is growing so fast cant keep dresses long enough and have let out all of her dresses and then still are not long enough Alice got her new dress to make it is real pretty she is going to take it to Mrs fat(?) to make and got Philip new pair of tennis shoes and Merl slippers next thing Merle wants new hat Porter sent MayAlice the prettys little pink silk dress has the sweet heart leassquett(?) she got her slippers new hat now she making her costume for the play Friday night Mamie was down yesterday with little (?doned) is so sweet isnt pretty but he is so sweet guess they told you minel was not with Mamie she is going back there is about month to stay with her live as one of the family til she gets her sale it looks like it would rain every miniut it well is rains so much cant even get my little garden spot broken up I guess we wont have any thing year or will miss so much but cant helpit two late now to start anything but beans and mustartd little thing how is Ruth Haden Edgar getting along tell to rite they rite so seldom loooks like they could rite me and not wait for me for I am so slow with my words and don't have no time to rite and you know it takes whole half day to rite well must hurry and finish my dinner they don't have time to wait and set it on the table he wen they get here Merl walks home to her dinner every day but I think its good has her well must stop so as can this go foo this even now deas and want you to try to be satisfied and don't worry haft to stay their as the doc thinks your are safe to come now don't worry about the children has we will take as good care of them as we can and they are all late as long they are well now take good care of your self and God bless you keep you safe and give you health and strengh for I with lot sof love and am as ever your lovingly Mother

I never do have any paper to rite so had to pick up any to an but it all rite Edna Aunt Pannie(?) we heard that your Uncle Benton was in the hospital in Marling him opporated on but they tell us what for said it was serious but doing much better
